The place was gorgeous and perfect and the stuff where really good, the location was ideal very close to the train station. A fitness club and treadmills were right on spot. Besides, the parking was onsite.

Too bad that we didn't have time, but we would definitely go back. The stay here was comfortable for 2 nights.

A very good hotel, excellent value for money, quiet area away from the busy city center but only 10 mins walk away from everything. Easy to find as it is close to the river. I very comfortable experience.
Totally enjoyed the experience, so I have no complaints.

The recently renovated room with wooden floor is very nice... I love it!!! I think all the carpets in any other rooms should be changed to wooden floor.
The staffs could be friendlier... I have stayed at this hotel for four times, they should have had my record or something...

The contemporary decor throughout Starhotels. The spacious lobby is good, and the easy access to the tram is perfect for seniors like me who appreciate a good stroll.
Room size could be more accommodating.

The location is brillliant, short tram ride (T1) from the main train station (western side). The hotel is immaculate, the staff were very friendly and very helpful. I can't understand some of the other comments made about this hotel. I was given one of their newer rooms (for no reason) and this was an amazing room. For the same price, I stayed in very poor accomodation in Venice, Verona and La Cinque Terre. The bar and lounge is very cosy. This hotel was more like 5 star. I will stay there from now on, and Travel Italy from Florence, the hotel was that good.
Having to leave the hotel. One of the best hotels in Europe i've stayed in, i was really not expecting this. I've always stayed in higher priced accomodation all around Europe, this beats all by far.... I hope your stay was as good as ours.

The upgrades to the main areas look great. The location is excellent, just off the main autostrada and a short 12 min walk to the centre..
They need to upgrade the rooms to the same style the main areas have been completed...

The hotel had a modern vibe, a comfy bar, and easy access to public transport. Enjoyed the massage chair in the lobby too!

Family rooms (suitable for 4 persons) with a good size. Beds are comfortable. Walking distance from the city center and smn station, but located in a peaceful area. Chambres de bonne taille pour une famille de quatre personnes (mais salle de bain petite). Literie confortable. Proche du centre ou de la gare SMN (15-20 mn a pied), mais dans une zone plus calme.
My credit card was debited immediately after the booking (3 weeks prior to check-in), even if the terms and conditions of the booking were clearly stating that no deposit was required and that the booking was cancellable up to 24 h prior to arrival. After claim, the hotel promised a refund that never came. After a reminder, we were told that the refund was pointless because we were close to our check-in date. Such a practice is just unacceptable. Small bathroom. Breakfast products are of bad quality. Except if you request it separately from the waiter, coffee quality is just far from what you could expect in Italy. The hotel needs to be refurbished.

Lovely hotel and with tram stop very close to hotel, very easy to access central Florence. Even without tram, it takes 15 minutes to walk to Ponte Vecchio
The staff are not particularly friendly or helpful. Again as some reviews state, they are more used to business travel so family staying with children (10 & 12) are not particularly welcomed in my opinion

Would be happy to recommend for a fleeting moment
Comfortable room, friendly staff, with a spacious family room that included a kettle for coffee, and the convenient nearby tram stop made exploring the city hassle-free.
Entirely satisfied.

I stayed here the night before I was to fly out of Florence, after a 3 week visit and course of study. I booked online without having seen the hotel since it is a little out of Centro. I was happily surprised when I checked in. The hotel may be 3 stars however, it is modern, updated and beautiful with a 4-star staff. Since I was leaving before the included breakfast, they prepared a cold breakfast to take with me to the airport. I could see the top of the Duomo from my window.
There was nothing I did not like. I did have the handicapped accessible bathroom but for the cost, I did not mind.
